If you have been a victim of crime and a decision has been taken by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) not to prosecute or terminate proceedings, you have a right to request a review of that decision.

Where the law permits, the CPS will consider requests for review for up to three months from the date the decision is communicated.
After three months, requests for reviews will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances.
When we receive your request for review, we will check you are eligible.
This decision will be checked by a prosecutor who has not been involved in the case.
We will make sure you have been provided with a clear, detailed explanation of the decision.
