VOICES was founded in 2014 by a group of women who had experienced Domestic Abuse. They wanted to improve services and help others to recover and thrive.
Since then, VOICES has developed a growing range of connected services and support whilst remaining true to our founding principles and values. Maintaining a Safe Space for survivors has always been a priority for VOICES, and in 2021, the charity’s vision of a Safe Space Centre where survivors of domestic and sexual abuse can receive specialist, multi-faceted support became a reality.
VOICES staff, volunteers and lived experience consultants have received awards and accolades over the years. This recognition has allowed the organisation to provide a valuable feedback loop, impacting policy and processes with a focus on making a positive change for those accessing our services.
We can help you explore concerns for yourself or a loved one about unhealthy relationships and offer 1-2-1 help, peer support and recovery programmes for women who are experiencing or have experienced Domestic Abuse
